I know personally how important it is, when the need arises, to have a genuinely caring and skilled caregiver there to help a loved one. I saw my father struggle with Parkinson’s disease for years. He had a strong, loving and playful spirit. He was the wisest man I knew. Joe was his caregiver for years. He became a trusted and reliable ally to my father. What was so beautiful is that my father was able to keep his dignity, his independence and enjoy his familial relationships because Joe provided a level of care that was professional, caring and trustworthy. My father lived to be 93 years old in the comfort of his home. That is the quality of life we provide to our clients whether young or old.

I am involved in creating customized care plans for each of our clients and in hiring every caregiver on our staff. I take particular care in matching our caregivers and clients, to provide the most positive homecare experience. Our hiring process and training guidelines are extensive as we are committed to having exceptional caregivers on our team. They are the heartbeat of our business which stems from our vision and intention to provide the best quality of life for our clients and their loved ones.

It is incredibly rewarding to work with an amazing heart-motivated team to provide compassionate care for our clients, allowing them to age with dignity and grace. We are all really passionate about matching an amazing caregiver with each of our clients. We never lose sight of the fact that, while their physical bodies may not be youthful anymore, our clients’ core identity harkens back to their younger years. We really try to engage with their true selves while we provide the care that they need.

It warms my heart receiving calls from clients or family members complimenting our services. This reassures me that teamwork really makes the dream work.

Working with Home Helpers has been extremely fulfilling.  I have the opportunity to assess all initial clients and get a glimpse of their life and the needs of the season they’re in when we meet them. And then continue to connect thru their time with us. In most cases I can assist them sort things out whether clinical or long term planning. If it helps things go a little smoother that’s a win.

My journey to becoming a nurse began with my desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. While I have enjoyed my time working with patients in healthcare facilities, I have always been drawn to the personal nature of caring for others in their home. Early in my career, I felt called to make a more direct impact on patients’ lives outside of the hospital setting, which led me to pursue a career in home health nursing. I have been privileged to work with a diverse range of patients, from elderly individuals with chronic illnesses to young adults with special needs.

As a homecare nurse, it is my passion to help clients and their families achieve wellness and independence at home. I consider myself a strong advocate for my clients and I am dedicated to ensuring that they receive the highest quality of care. I have a strong passion and drive for helping others. With a background in mental health therapy and hospital social work in care coordination, I understand the importance of compassion when caring for our loved ones.

I am excited to utilize my background, education, and hands-on experience in the social work field to advocate for clients and families needs. My grandfather passed away on hospice while I was in college, and this personal experience with hospice and the need for private home care has given me an inside view of what families need when seeking additional support.

My social work background allows me to have a perspective to see the full picture of a patient and their needs. This offers a different angle when exploring private home care options for families.

I am originally from Philadelphia and have lived in Atlanta since 2021. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, my two dogs, watching the NFL, and cooking

Hi, I’m Taramesha! I’m proud to serve as the Community Relations Liaison for Home Helpers, where I get to do what I love most- build authentic connections, and help families find the support they need during some of life’s most important moments.

Before joining Home Helpers, I spent the last nine years as a Realtor, which taught me the value of trust, communication, and showing up for people when it matters. Those same skills guide me today as I build relationships with hospitals, senior communities, physicians, and families throughout our area.

I genuinely enjoy meaningful work and have a true heart to help, and I bring that spirit into every connection I make.This role immediately resonated with me, as my heart went back to my great-grandmother, whose life was richly enhanced by her in-home care provider. Witnessing the impact of compassionate care on someone I loved is what inspires me to support the senior community today.

I believe deeply in the mission of Home Helpers and the difference quality in-home care can make. I’m excited to be part of the Home Helpers family and to continue building meaningful relationships throughout the community.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom who loves spending time with my children, and those I love the most. More times than not, you can usually find me on the sidelines of a soccer field, cheering, and embracing my life as an overnight soccer mom, or at one of my daughter’s chorus performances- a role that brings just as much joy and excitement as the work I love.
