Home Helpers of Barrington Donates Cubs Tickets to Lake County Veterans Group
BARRINGTON - Home Helpers of Barrington has donated four tickets to the Lake County Veterans and Family Services Foundation (LCVFSF) for the Thursday, May 25, Chicago Cubs game versus the San Francisco Giants at Wrigley Field in Chicago. In addition, Home Helpers of Barrington has made a pledge to donate $100 for each home run hit by Cubs players during that game.
Steven Krzyzyk, on behalf of Christine L. Browning R.N., president, Home Helpers of Barrington, traveled to LCVFSF’s headquarters in Grayslake to present the donation.
The donation is part of a larger event by the 14 Chicagoland offices of Home Helpers who will host more than 120 veterans for the game.
“We appreciate the ongoing support from Home Helpers of Barrington and the opportunity to get some of our veterans out to a sporting event that many cannot afford to attend,” said LCVFSF Founder and President Paul Baffico. “Our organization relies on support from area businesses to help sustain and further our mission to veterans in Lake County.”
As one of the nation’s leading providers of affordable and flexible home care services, Home Helpers allows seniors, including veterans, to be independent and secure in their own homes.
