Why Home Helpers
Why Home Helpers of Bradenton for In-Home Care?
Making decisions on providing care for a loved one can be overwhelming. How do you know what’s right for your family’s unique situation? Is in-home care the right solution? Or does your loved one need more?
Your Extended Family When Family Can’t Be There
At Home Helpers Home Care, we’re here to do exactly what our name says: help. We’re more than an in-home health care agency – we’re your extended family when family can’t be there.
From our initial free in-home consultation to compassionate, caring in-home health care services to medical monitoring, we provide exceptional support for you, your loved one, and your entire family.
We work with you to create a customized care plan that matches your family’s needs, taking time to understand your unique situation through a step-by-step process for the best quality of life for your loved one and peace of mind for you. A Registered Nurse is involved in this process to ensure optimal care.
FREE IN-HOME CONSULTATION
We meet with you at no obligation to get to know you and understand your family’s needs, answer your questions, and assess care needs.
FREE HOME SAFETY CHECK
Our free home environmental assessment identifies potential hazards and helps ensure the home is safe for your loved one to age in place.
We know it can be difficult to open your home to a stranger, so we match every client with the most compatible caregiver, and we personally introduce caregivers and clients. When your loved one is partnered with the right caregiver, they become members of an extended family that provides compassionate, attentive care and the best possible quality of life.
We work within your budget and partner with your long-term care insurance provider to ensure your family’s care services fit your financial requirements.
- Our Long Term Care Insurance Specialists can assist with understanding your policy, initiating a claim, and interacting with the insurance company throughout services.
- Our Veterans program can help military veterans and spouses receive the care they need.
we are not a caregiver referral service or registry
All of our caregivers are employees and not contractors. This allows for regular communication and updates, supervision, caregiver scheduling, and optimal client care. Background checks and driving record checks are done on all employees. In addition, we provide in-person/online training opportunities and career development of staff.
peace of mind for clients and their families
We have workers’ compensation and liability insurance extending to all of our employees. Therefore, our employees are not without insurance or expected to purchase their own insurance.
We also have partnerships and coordination with local healthcare providers such as skilled home health, independent and assisted living communities, and geriatric care management companies.
quick follow-up on client needs
With our Manatee County Only focus, we are able to quickly follow-up and address client needs in addition to regular supervised visits to clients to ensure needs are being met. We also have an ability to perform same-day consultations for new clients.
