PayActiv Early Pay Program

More about the Early Pay Program and How to Sign Up:

We are pleased to include PayActiv Financial Wellness Services to our voluntary employee benefits. With PayActiv, you can get up to 50% of your earned wages during a payroll period at any time. It’s not a loan and the accessed amount is settled by a debit from your bank account after payroll is run.

Who’s eligible for the benefit? This benefit is available to all of our caregiving staff with a bank account. If you are using a pay card, you may also be able to take advantage of the benefit if PayActiv is able to initiate a debit transaction against the pay card account. If you have a pay card and are interested, go ahead and enroll in the program and PayActiv will let you know if your pay card will work.

Here’s an example of how it works: Let’s say you are a week and a half into the payroll period and have earned $700. You will have the ability to access $350 of the earned amount immediately. Your payroll will still be processed for the full amount of your earnings on the scheduled pay date. Then, after payroll is run and funds have been deposited into your account, PayActiv will then initiate a debit transaction from your bank account for the $350 you took early during the payroll period. The cost to you is only $5 for the pay period. The $5 will allow you to access your earned amount up to 3 times during the payroll period.

IMPORTANT ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS: See below for more information. There is no cost to enroll. Here’s what is most important:

  1. You need to first download the PayActiv app from the Apple or the Google app store.
  2. Once you download the app, click the button to ‘Create Account’ and follow the directions.
  3. When asked for your Employee ID, enter your first and last name without any space or special characters being used in between. For example, our owner's ID would be "JonathanMarsh".
  4. When asked for the Employer Name, enter “VitaCare Home Care”.

PayActiv includes many financial wellness services, including:

  • On-demand access to earned wages
  • Electronic Bill Pay
  • Cash pick-up at Walmart stores
  • Prescription Discounts
  • Savings and Budgeting Tools
  • Financial Counseling and Financial planning guides
  • Visa® Prepaid Card (24/7/365 real-time access to earned wages)
  • And much more

You can enroll for free and start using the discounts and savings tool. Earned wage access and all other services are available for $5 per bi-weekly pay period, applicable only in the pay period used. The $5 charge during the pay period allows you to take from your earned wages up to 3 times during the pay period.
