Mandy Delp, Area Manager and Marketing
With great pride and a passion, I have served the aging community for 19 years. My service roles include Protective Services for Older Adults within Montgomery County as well as the Director of Social Services at Artman Home and The Hill at Whitemarsh, respectively. My final career move has been to Home Helpers, the premier non-medical home care company serving Bucks, Lehigh and Montgomery Counties as well as NE Philadelphia. Our focus is on in-home care for seniors and comprehensive support planning. My enthusiasm and social work skills are currently used to propel the company forward in the Marketing arena as Regional Manager for Bucks and NE Philly territories. The use of Social Workers in this capacity is revolutionary and allows Home Helpers to remain industry leaders. It is a pleasure and an honor to walk folks through setting up care for their loved ones and maintaining strong communication. In my personal life, I adore reading memoirs and staying physically fit. My hilarious husband and I reside in Lansdale which is also home to our corporate office.
Eileen Edling RN- Client Care Manager
Eileen joined Home Helpers in 2010. Eileen is a graduate of Mount St Joseph Academy and attended St. Joseph’s University before receiving her nursing degree from Montgomery County Community College in 1984. Prior to working at Home Helpers, Eileen worked in Pre-Admission Testing, Telemetry and Pediatric Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation. Eileen joined Home Helpers because she saw the need for families who want to help their loved ones stay at home in a safe, familiar setting when the family is not always available to provide the care needed. Families are able to honor their loved ones wishes, keeping the client safe and well cared for with our home care services.
Eileen’s mission is to provide a plan of care after meeting with the client, family members and other professionals who have been involved in the client’s care. The home consult is an opportunity for Eileen to learn about the client, including his/her work history and “life story”. We are aware that the person sitting in front of us has a story to tell, and this information will help guide us to provide services that are not only relevant but will also provide value to our client’s life. This information is also taken into account as our team works together to identify the caregiver skill set required to take care of your loved one.
Eileen is a Certified Gerontology Resource Nurse and uses her professional skills to assist the Client Care Teams, Nurses, families, primary caregivers and our own caregivers when there are questions or concerns about the care plan. Home visits to see both our clients and caregivers, along with communication via phone and email to clients, caregivers and family, are an important part of Eileen’s job in providing quality in home care.
