I WAS WORRIED ABOUT MY MOM LIVING ALONE AFTER HER FALL, BUT HOME HELPERS HAS GIVEN ME PEACE OF MIND. THEY ARE ALWAYS THERE TO HELP HER WITH WHATEVER SHE NEEDS, WHETHER THE TASK IS BIG OR SMALL. It was about 4 years ago exactly that we first conversed about caregiver coverage for my mother, Margaret. At the time I did not know if the Public-Partnerships option for aging waiver clients and I'm writing this note to thank you for takin on my mother and her live in caregiver client/employee for a nursing home was threatening to be a last option. I also want to explain that I had quickly no choice to change from your company in early 2020, as Mom's caregiver was on the verge of quitting had I not. As you may recall, you wanted my Mom to try a sit-to-stand lift in 2019. She did eventually try that lift in 2020, but wasn't able to use it. My mother passed away just before Christmas 2021 in part due to inadequate health care when she needed help. The unfortunate end to my mother's courageous battle against the horrors of Parkinson's Disease (as she described it) has added to my grieving.
