We had a great time yesterday at the Agawam Senior Center getting to meet and work together with very competent and friendly local health practitioners.
Since 2016, Home Helpers has been expanding its activities in Western Massachusetts, offering an option of high quality, reliability, and best In-Home Care cost-benefit.
When it comes to looking out for our loved ones, everybody agrees that home care cost is not the most important issue at stake, but we all want them to have the best quality of care at an expense we can afford. Home Helpers is bringing to Western Mass the same affordable quality care it is recognized for in North Central Connecticut.
Our caregivers are vetted, interviewed, background checked and insured; a large number of them are specialized in Alzheimer's Care, with years of experience caring for Alzheimer's patients.

Need for senior care in Agawam
Agawam counts with one of the most dynamic 65+ community in our region, with over 16% of its inhabitants in that age group. Over 11% of the city’s households have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older, according to the 2010 census.
This could be noticed from the high numbers of people interested in senior care who attended the event yesterday. Besides Home Helpers, there were present representatives from assisted living facilities, funeral homes, skilled nursing facilities, personal emergency response systems.
Veteran senior care support for Agawam
Besides talking about our options for Home Care and Senior Care, Home Helpers also brought our joint program with the VCC (Veterans Care Coordination), which helps eligible veterans to submit their paperwork to the VA and pays the benefits in advance, while the VA analyses it.
We are looking forward to helping Agawam seniors and veterans to continue to age at home, with health and independence. Sometimes, all it takes is a little help.
