Adult Day Care Services are designed to provide care and companionship for older adults who need assistance or supervision during the day. Programs offer relief to family members and caregivers, allowing them to go to work, handle personal business, or just relax while knowing their relative is well cared for and safe.
An assisted living residence or assisted living facility is a housing facility for people with disabilities or for adults who cannot or chose not to live independently. Independent senior living communities are for seniors who do not require assistance with daily activities or 24/7 skilled nursing.
Acute care services are generally delivered by teams of health care professionals from a range of medical and surgical specialties. Hospital-based acute inpatient care typically has the goal of discharging patients as soon as they are deemed healthy and stable.
