Leigh Warlick

When you’re looking for an in-home care company, you’re looking for someone who treats you with the same warmth, respect and care they would give to a family member. I’m Leigh Warlick, the owner and operator of Home Helpers of Hendersonville, and I feel the same way. I’ve been a caregiver and I’ve owned a health-oriented business, so when I had the opportunity to own my own Home Helpers business, I saw it as a perfect opportunity to combine my experience and my passion for helping people in a way that would positively impact my community.

At Home Helpers, we specialize in providing comprehensive home care for seniors, new mothers and individuals needing recuperative and continuing assistance. Home Helpers also offers Direct Link, its proprietary line of 24/7 medical alert systems, including a fall sensor with GPS locator and an automated medication dispenser. Home Helpers of Hendersonville serves Arden, Brevard, East Flat Rock, Flat Rock, Etowah, Fletcher, Hendersonville, Horse Shoe, Mills River, Pisgah Forest, Zirconia and the surrounding areas.

I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of South Carolina and, after counseling abused women for a year, I went on a sabbatical, attended massage school and, in 1990, opened Evergreen Holistic Health. I sold my practice in 2011 and went into property management until 2015 when I started looking to get back into helping people. I took the reins of Home Helpers of Hendersonville in early 2017.

When you call Home Helpers, you’ll be greeted by a team member who genuinely wants to listen to you first and then discuss how we can help. I think that’s important, especially when people are going through what can be a really challenging time in their lives – I recognize the need for providing excellent customer service with sincere compassion and empathy.

I’m thrilled to also have Debe Nowicki as the office manager for Home Helpers of Hendersonville. Debe joined our team after owning her own health care agency for 25 years and I consider myself very fortunate to have her on my staff. She brings a great deal of experience, compassion and understanding to Home Helpers. She is joined by a veteran team of caregivers we would both trust with our own families. Debe and I are also both members of Zonta International, a worldwide organization of executives in business and the professions working together to advance the status of women.

If you’re looking for a team of professional, sympathetic and passionate caregivers, it’s time to contact Home Helpers. Call or email us today and let’s talk about how we can help you and your family live life to the fullest.
