2020 Caregiver of the Quarter

Second Quarter - Jackie D.

Congratulations to Jackie who is our Caregiver of the Quarter. Jackie has been with Home Helpers since 2016 providing compassion and assistance to our clients. She commented, “I enjoy taking care of the older generation and listening to them. I learn a lot. They have such wisdom.”

Jackie’s suggestion is to remember the client is someone’s mom, dad or grandparent. “Treat and care for them how you would want someone treating your own mom or dad or grandparent.”

We thank Jackie for her service. She gave us a nice review too. She really likes how the staff takes care of the caregivers and said, “Brian is a really good boss and very caring.” We are proud of the caring spirit of everyone in our organization!

Outside of work, Jackie said she likes to bake. Apparently, sweet potato pie is her specialty and is the favorite at all her holiday gatherings. You may want to ask if she’s willing to share a slice or maybe her recipe!

Steps to Care

1.
Initial Call Once we’ve received your information, we will have a detailed call to gather more information on the care situation, answer any pressing concerns, and set up a time to meet in person.
2.
In-home Care Assessment Here we will answer all your questions, and ask some of our own to craft a Cared-4^℠Customized Care Plan to your unique needs.
3.
Start of Care We will come with our Caregiver on the first day of care to go through the Care Plan together and help with introductions.
4.
Client Visits Once we have begun care, we will pop in at times our Caregiver is there to see how things are going and determine if we need to adjust the Care Plan.
