Senior Center
The Senior Center is located at the Grand Avenue Community Center at 4211 Grand Avenue, Western Springs, IL 60558. The center is available for activities Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All residents age 55 and older are welcome to participate in the center’s various activities.

Seniors Club
The Western Springs Seniors Club offers a variety of social and educational activities separate from the Senior Center. The club meets on the second Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. at the Recreation Center located at 1500 Walker, Western Springs, IL 60558.

I Live Alone Service
The local Police Department can do a daily check-up via phone call for any senior who lives alone and requests the service in the neighborhood. All emergency contacts will be kept on file as well so those who need to be contacted in case of emergency will be alerted.

Library Book Drop Off
Every two weeks, volunteers from the Interfaith Community Partners will deliver books and other library material to your door on a Saturday. After two weeks, a volunteer will pick them up and drop off a new batch. To sign up and request your library materials, you need to have a valid library card from your respective library in the town in which you live and you need to complete a home library delivery application, which can be found here: Interfaith Community Partners Library Service/.
They also partner with area teens to create an inter-generational experience for all clients and young adults.
