Home Helpers Home Care of Hinsdale works closely with many businesses that assist older adults in a variety of ways. We get a lot of calls asking about facilities and services in the area so we thought it would be helpful to list these on our website.

Skilled Home Health Services are services for adults who require extended professional medical care at home – most often following a hospital stay or when recovering from surgery. Hospice Care provides compassionate care for people in the last phases of life so that they may live as fully and as comfortably as possible.

Home Modifications and Medical Equipment Rental provides products, services, and conveniences that will allow you to continue living in your home safely and securely.

Senior Living Consultants

Senior Living Consultants are experts who work with you to evaluate your care requirements, budget, and geographical preferences to find the right community or support service to fit your needs.

Transportation services

Transportation services to help seniors get to needed appointments and errands like doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping, hair appointments, etc.

Visiting Physicians

Visiting physicians provide medical care right in your home to address regular check-ups and chronic conditions, including flu or pneumonia shots. This is a convenient service for those who require additional effort/coordination in order to get to the doctor’s office.

Realtor/Downsizing/Moving Assistance will help with moving to a smaller home, condo or to a senior living facility. These folks will help you with the transition to your new living environment.

There are many programs in the area that offer home delivered meals and places to have meals with other seniors.
