Big news in Washington, D.C. this week as Home Helpers® Home Care was formally inducted into the Military Spouse Employment Partnership this past Tuesday, Oct. 16.
“We’re honored to have been approved for MSEP membership,” said Home Helpers CEO Emma Dickison. “We know the commitment to service and understanding of duty already make veterans and military family members among our most reliable Caregivers and some of our most successful owners. We’re very proud to continue our efforts and tradition of working with the military and veteran communities.”
Home Helpers was featured as an MSEP Partner in the Department of Defense (DoD) New Partner Induction Ceremony and Partner Meeting in Washington, D.C. titled, “Partnership with a Purpose.”
MSEP was created by DoD in 2011 in response to a growing readiness issue and is part of the Department of Defense’s broader Spouse Education and Career Opportunities (SECO) program, which seeks to reduce the 23 percent unemployment rate experienced by military spouses and close the 25 percent wage gap currently experienced by military spouses.
