About Us

About Home Helpers of Montgomery county, lehigh valley, and bucks county

Our Home Helpers office began with an initial vision by our partner, Frank Esterle, who, in the year 2000, was inspired to provide this invaluable home care service to his community. After the sudden loss of his father, Frank and his brother-in-law, Greg Scheck, saw firsthand the impact of difficult times on families, especially devastated spouses. They understood the immediate and critical need for quality home care services for people going through a time of transition, whether it be: after a tragedy, during a medical setback or onset of a chronic disease, recovery from injury, initiating hospice care, or simply establishing in-home care to safely age in place.

Frank and Greg made the bold decision in 2004 to quit their full-time careers and launch a Home Helpers home care agency, serving Central Bucks, and Eastern and Central Montgomery Counties, and Northeast Philadelphia. In late 2008, the pair welcomed a partner, Tom Krupp, a neighboring franchisee who served Western Montgomery County, Upper and Lower Bucks County and the Southern Lehigh Valley. Tom had similarly taken a bold and passionate step into entrepreneurship two years prior, to serve his community, after a personal family experience with caregiving services. In 2010, the three partners expanded further into the Lehigh Valley and later added Roxborough and Chestnut Hill.

Today, Frank, Greg and Tom operate one of the largest Home Helpers offices in the system, while maintaining their commitment to “boutique” quality care. From the onset, they sought to be the premier provider of caregiving services in the region. They recognized the need for clinical experience because of the growing acuity of the clients served. Our agency follows a localized team approach to client service and caregiver management, and each “client care team” includes a dedicated owner, Registered or Licensed Practical Nurses, a Relationship Manager (with a background in social work), professional staffing coordinators, and experienced on-call caregivers. Our main office, based in Lansdale, houses centralized departments, including Human Resources and Staff Development, Accounting and Finance, IT and Operations. Our satellite offices include Newtown, Bucks County, and Bethlehem, Northampton County in the Lehigh Valley.

We welcome the opportunity to deliver remarkable care to our valued clients, when care is needed most. Our goal is to provide care like family would, when they cannot be there. We seek to “Make Life Easier” for our clients (and, of course, their families), who we are so fortunate to serve. Perhaps we might help you!
