I opened Home Helpers with the goal of being the best, most trusted provider of non-medical in-home care in southern New Hampshire. Why? Because I saw first-hand the need for an affordable alternative for seniors who weren’t quite ready to move into an assisted living community or long-term care facility. What better way to serve others than to provide an option, a way for folks to stay at home for awhile longer, to maintain their dignity and independence in the place of their choosing for as long as it is safe to do so? Home Helpers was especially appealing because they shared my vision for serving "all ages and stages," understanding that caregivers care for those in need from birth to death, in both short and long-term situations.
As a retired U.S. Navy Chief and former police officer, I am committed to the safety and security of my clients. As a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), I am committed to my clients’ quality of life.
I am also a firm believer in community service, and I serve in a number of volunteer positions. I am an Event Team Leader (aka "Queen of Fun") for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Greater Derry and Londonderry, President of Business and Professional Women (BPW)/Greater Londonderry, member of the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, member of Parkland Medical Center’s Care Transition Team and Ethics Committee, and Chair of the Town of Londonderry Senior Resources Committee.
I’m proud of my outstanding team of managers and caregivers. Please let me know if we may be of service. We’re happy to help.
