Home Helpers Home Care of Metro West Boston Helps Serve Meals with United Way in Framingham

Community Outreach in Framingham MA by Home Helpers Metro West Boston

Pearl Street Cupboard and Café in Framingham Serves Over 50 Hot Meals on June 30th, thanks to volunteers and the United Way of Tri-County team.

United Way’s Barbara LaGrenade, the Volunteer Center Director and Mark Bush, the Operations Director and their team, together with volunteers, serve free hot meals every Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:00PM-7:30PM at the Pearl Street Cupboard and Café in Framingham, MA.

This past Thursday, Alison Holland, the new Community Outreach Director for Home Helpers of Wayland, had a rewarding experience volunteering for the meal service program.

When asked about the event, she said “Well, actually, I had dishwashing duty(!), but it was still a lot of fun and an opportunity to meet with a wonderful group of people making a much-needed service happen for people in need.”
