Home Helpers of Wayland attended Waltham’s Jewish Family & Child Service (JF&CS’s) Parkinson’s education, networking and support group presented and facilitated by avid writer Beth Solzberg on July 7th. Beth highlighted poet Robin Morgan’s exquisite verses about her journey with Parkinson’s. Attendees watched a video presentation by Robin Morgan in which she read four poems. After a discussion of the poems, support group attendees were asked to write a “cinquain” – a five-line poem that describes a person, place or thing – in order to express their own feelings about Parkinson’s.
