This month we’d like to celebrate our Home Helpers’ Care Service Manager, Jill Jarnis. Jill joined Home Helpers almost two years ago and is responsible for hiring, scheduling, and managing the communication of our team of over 80 home health care aides. Jill’s exceptional people, organizational and communication skills ensure that our busy day-to-day aide operations run efficiently and smoothly, all the while ensuring our clients receive the best care possible. Her caring and compassionate demeanor make her perfect for the position and an asset to the organization.
When asked what she loves most about her job, Jill explained, “I most enjoy being able to combine my office and management skills while still being able to help the senior population in areas of their lives that they need the most.”
Prior to joining Home Helpers, worked in hotel management and real estate. Her first job was in Vail, Colorado as the assistant general manager. There she was responsible for managing the front office employees, guest services, as well as accounts receivables. With a real estate license, Jill also managed and brokered the Timeshare Resales on the property.
After moving back to Massachusetts, Jill managed activities with seniors at an assisted living facility in Marlborough. “After being mainly home with my children for a long time, it’s been very nice to bring my past experience to this full-time role at Home Helpers.”
