Home Helpers Brings a Hot Meal to Veterans in Philadelphia on Veterans Day

WHAT:  On Monday, November 12 at 3:30PM, Hope Helpers thanked our Veterans for their commitment and service to our country. But saying thank you isn’t enough. Home Helpers engaged Jeremiah’s Custom Cuisine ( to bring a hot meal to approximately 40 Veterans at The Veterans Group home ( in the University City section of Philadelphia PA.  

  • Each Veteran in the home received a hot meal consisting of 3 sliders, mac & cheese, and green beans.
  • Each Veteran received a “Thank you for your service” coin.

The Home Helpers offices of the Delaware Valley serve the entire region of Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, Chester and Philadelphia Counties in PA and also the Cherry Hill, NJ marketplace.  We specialize in comprehensive non-medical in-home care services for seniors, those recovering from illness or injury and individuals facing lifelong challenges such as Alzheimer’s or other forms of Dementia, or ALS.
