Frank Esterle, CSA – Partner


Frank is a 1985 Graduate of Central Bucks West High School, in Doylestown, having grown up in Chalfont, PA.  Frank earned his BS in Hospitality Administration, with Distinction, from Cornell University in 1989, which is where he developed his passion for the service industry.  Upon graduation, Frank spent 10+ years in hospitality consulting services, with such firms as Coopers & Lybrand LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, travelling domestically and internationally, while working on diverse projects and teams.  In 1996, Frank took the position of Director of Finance for Aramark’s Healthcare Support Services Division in Philadelphia, and also served as Regional Finance Director for the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Southwest and West Regions. In that role, he managed financial reporting and budgeting, and also supported operational and new business development efforts for outsourced professional services within hospital, rehab, CCRC and SNF settings.

The inspiration for Frank’s involvement in home care services was, sadly, due to the sudden death of his father (at age 60) in 2000.  This shocking loss fueled Frank’s desire to make a difference in his community, and and he quickly focused on the growing need for in-home senior care for individuals struggling during a difficult time.  In late 2003, Frank found a match in Home Helpers, and in July 2004, partnered with his brother-in-law, Greg Scheck, CPA, to launch their initial agency in the Buxmont area. 

Frank is a Certified Senior Advisor from the Society of Certified Senior Advisors®.  Frank resides with his wife and three sons in North Wales, PA

Joy Dolan, BSW, Regional Manager/Montgomery County

Joy joined Home Helpers in 2014 after 30+ years’ experience in CCRC/Long Term Care and Behavioral Health settings. Joy’s role with Home Helpers is to guide clients and their responsible parties through the intake process, gathering relevant information to develop an individualized plan for meeting their needs.  Joy provides on-going support as a Relationship Manager to facilitate a care partnership and team of Home Helpers staff to deliver quality, personalized care to enable our Clients in maintaining their maximum level of independence and safety.

Joy is a graduate of Lock Haven University and resides in Bucks County.

Sharon Milligan, RN/BSN - Director of Client Care


Sharon joined Home Helpers in 2003 as a staff nurse. Sharon’s role is a pivotal role, even though Home Helpers is a Non-Medical Caregiving Company. Sharon’s mission is to ensure that the trusted, quality care delivered to our clients meets the high standards we have set. Client Care Planning and Care Coordination begins at first Home Consultation with families, primary caregivers, professionals from hospital, rehabilitation or hospice teams and the client. From this process, Sharon helps identify the caregiver skill set required for the client and safety equipment needed in the home and creates a detailed care plan used by our caregivers in the delivery of care.  Sharon is a Certified Gerontology Resource Nurse and uses her professional skills to assist the Client Care Teams, Nurses, families, primary caregivers and our own caregivers when there are questions or concerns about the care plan. 

Sharon works closely with our Client Care Teams, Nurses, Regional Managers and Office Staff who support Home Helpers in our mission to ensure the highest quality of care. Sharon and the team of nurses, along with our On Call Caregiver staff, visit clients and caregivers in the home to supervise care being given and act as a liaison for clients and their families, providing them with community and medical resources.

Sharon is a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School, and earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Villanova University. Sharon has been an RN for 37 years, working in a variety of settings, including hospitals, outpatient dialysis centers, and in long term care. Sharon currently resides in North Wales, Montgomery County.
