Amy has always been sympathetic to seniors aging with grace. This interest turned into a passion while Amy watched her grandparents leave their independent apartment and move into a facility, which was not their first choice – they wanted to stay in their home together. As the owner of Home Helpers Homecare Pittsburgh, based in the North Hills, that passion is what propels her business; helping people remain in the place of their choosing, regardless of their age or disability, as comfortably and independently as possible.
Amy is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and a Certified Alzheimer’s Educator (CAEd). Training Home Helpers Homecare Pittsburgh’s team of exceptional caregivers to properly care for individuals with Alzheimer’s and Dementia is one of Amy’s primary goals, in addition to allowing those with Parkinson’s disease and other debilitating disorders to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible.
In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, running marathons, and traveling.
