Caregivers United is a group run by caregivers for other caregivers. Everyone will become a caregiver at one point in his or her life. It is a rewarding journey, a stressful journey, and at times an overwhelming journey. When the time comes, we are often unprepared and need help but don’t know what to do, who to call, or what steps to take. Caregivers United will provide you with the help you need along your caregiving journey.
Each month, we will feature a different professional who will answer any questions you may have about important caregiving topics. Whether you are just starting your journey or are in the middle of a long road, Laura Marie Huisking from Home Helpers and the rotating panel of experts are here to help you!
This event is FREE to the public and light refreshments will be served. This month’s featured professional is Christina Candido of Goldberg Law Group, an Elder Law firm with offices in Woodcliff Lake, Fairfield, and Morristown. GLG’s goal is to protect everyone you love and everything you’ve earned; they provide the most effective, efficient, and client-centric elder planning strategies to avoid the financial consequences of a long term healthcare need. They specialize in creating personalized solutions whether clients wish to plan in advance of a healthcare need or are currently receiving care at home, assisted living, or skilled nursing facility.
