MISSOURI PATIENTS ONLY - Avalon Hospice is focused on providing excellent, compassionate care to our patients and their families. Avalon Hospice utilizes a team approach to help with physical, mental, emotional and social needs for patients that are needing end-of-life care. We care for patients in their home, nursing home, or assisted living facility. Our Avalon team is made up of people who have a great passion for patient care and this can be witnessed with 110+ years of hospice experience between our team members. Our main goal is to ease worry and give patients quality of life during their remaining days. We differentiate ourselves by going the extra mile including our perenity and effleurage programs. In addition, we have a robust team of volunteers which includes veterans who specialize in recognizing those who have sacrificed their time for our country.

Washington Regional Hospice is the oldest active and most experienced hospice program in Arkansas, with roots dating back to 1979 and association with Washington Regional Hospital beginning in 1983. WR Hospice is the only program of its kind in our area that is Joint Commission
Certified and affiliated with a community owned, operated and locally governed not-for-profit Medical System. WR Hospice helps terminal patients rediscover the joy of living one day at a time in comfort, dignity and peace. This is accomplished through emotional, physical, social, and spiritual care, enabling them to live as fully as possible in familiar surroundings with loved ones. The team approach may involve the patient, their family or loved ones, their primary physician in cooperation with our hospice-certified medical director (Dr. Stan Bradley), professional staff and specially trained volunteers.
