Homecare for Your Loved One

No one really wants to be fully dependent on others, and we at Home Helpers Home Care of Thousand Oaks in Camarillo understand this. Our caregivers have the training and the experience to provide the necessary home care so that your aging loved ones can still be independent and comfortable in the house they’ve lived in for so long. We offer the companionship of a friend, with the dedication of a trained professional caregiver by their side. We can make sure that they take their necessary medication on time. We can check to see that they’re eating properly, that they get the assistance they need for daily chores such as with the laundry, and that they get enough exercise and a change of scenery with a nice ambling walk in a nearby park. And sometimes, even just our companionship and friendly visits are enough to brighten their day. We offer just the right level of assistance for your elderly loved ones so that they can go through life smoothly and comfortably.

Home Care: Trustworthy Caregivers with Compassion and Professional Training
The reputation that Home Helpers Senior Home Care has acquired in Camarillo through the many years of experience in the home care industry is well-earned. We are completely professional with our selection process when we choose who we trust to act as caregivers. We are diligent in checking the background of each of our caregivers, and we make sure they meet all the necessary requirements regarding their references and their skills. We even bond all our caregivers before placing them.

What we offer with our Camarillo in-home care is the kind of non-medical assistance you can expect from a compassionate and dedicated friend. But we still make sure that all our caregivers know enough about CPR and first aid. We even provide them with regular training so that they can also deal well enough for elderly loved ones with Alzheimer’s’ and dementia. And we don’t summarily choose the caregiver for your loved ones. We work with you so that everyone is satisfied with the choice of caregiver assigned to your senior family member.

Camarillo is a city in Ventura County in the U.S. state of California. The population was 65,201 at the 2010 census, up from 57,084 at the 2000 census. The Ventura Freeway (U.S. Route 101) is the city’s primary thoroughfare. Camarillo is named for Adolfo and Juan Camarillo, two of the few Californios (pre-1848 California natives of Hispanic ancestry) to preserve the city’s heritage after the arrival of Anglo settlers. The railroad coast route came through in 1898 and built a station here. Adolfo Camarillo eventually employed 700 workers growing mainly lima beans. Walnuts and citrus were also grown on the ranch. Adolfo bred Camarillo White Horses in the 1920s through the 1960s and was well known for riding them, dressed in colorful Spanish attire, in parades such as the Fiesta of Santa Barbara.
