    Dave has 25 years of small business ownership experience, over 30 years of executive-level experience, as well as a BS – Hospitality/Business from the University of Wisconsin – Stout. Dave is involved in many community events around the Lake Country area, so please say “hi” if you see him. He is also a professional musician, and hobbies include sports, fishing, and gardening.

    Dave’s focus is on ensuring all aspects of Home Helpers result in the best quality care for our clients, and remaining the area’s leading home care company.

    Care Coordinator

    Dee has been a registered nurse for over 30 years.  She has spent the last 20 years in home health care.  She earned her degree at Waukesha County Technical College.

    When she is not working, Dee enjoys camping, kayaking, snowshoeing, crafts and spending time with family.

    Dee’s focus is initial client assessments, addressing client medical concerns, and communicating with clients’ medical/hospital staff to ensure the best possible home care. She also assists with client medical needs upon request, and assists in the proper training for our staff.

    Crystal has worked for Home Helpers for over 5 years as a caregiver, field supervisor, staff scheduler, and now care coordinator. For the past 21 years she has worked in healthcare and really enjoys working with elderly that need assistance.

    She and her husband have three adorable boys that keep her very busy! When she is not working, Crystal enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with family.

    Crystal is responsible for schedule oversight and working with care team in the field to ensure the best client experience.

    Field Supervisor

    Amy is a Field Supervisor for Home Helpers.  She started in June of 2022, although she has worked in health care since 2009. Amy has worked in group homes for people with disabilities at the Grand Rapids Home for veterans. She started her caregiving career as a nanny in 1993. She went back to school and received her LPN certificate and license from Michigan in 2013.

    Amy moved to Wisconsin in May of 2022. She moved to be closer to family, and lives with her oldest brother and his two children. Amy spends free time with her family and their two dogs. She enjoys taking them to the dog park.

    Amy is responsible onboarding new clients, ensuring the highest level of care with our clients, assisting staff with training and follow up, as well as being a caregiver herself.

    Kirsten has a BA in Political Science from the University of Minnesota.  From working on campaigns to serving at restaurants, she has spent most of her life working directly with other people (which she loves).

    She loves spending time with her husband (Andrew), son (Arthur) dog (Kilo) and cat (Sabot). She also enjoys going to Orangetheory, crafting, reading, walks outside and attending concerts.

    Kirsten oversees all Office Operational, Human Resources, Billing and Payroll functions for the business. Her focus is making sure all aspects of Home Helpers administration runs smoothly.

    Caregiver Relations Coordinator
    Doreen has worked in the service industry for over 20 years, so helping people has been a priority in her life. She enjoys hiking, birding and traveling.
    Doreen’s focus is to be the highlight in someone’s day every day while ensuring quality care. She also helps ensure we are well-connected in the communities we serve, through volunteer work and community involvement.
    She assists in on-boarding new staff members, ensuring there experience as the “new one” goes as smoothly as possible, and communicating with all staff regarding concerns or issues.

    Danielle has worked for Home Helpers for five years as a caregiver and scheduler. Although she studied veterinary science at UW-Madison and psychology at Whitewater, she started her healthcare journey 16 years ago working with developmentally disabled adults.​

    She is engaged and has a daughter named Mackenzie. When she is not working, Danielle enjoys cooking and shopping.​

    Danielle is responsible for scheduling of all field caregiving staff, ensuring each one is a good fit for the client they will be assisting.

    Client Relations Coordinator

    Courtney is the Client Relations Coordinator for Home Helpers. She’s new to the human side of health care, but has worked on the client support side of the veterinary field for the last 10 years. She has her bachelor’s degree in biology and received her master’s in conservation biology in August 2024. She has also been a zookeeper at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Courtney moved into the human side of health care after assisting with her parents in their older years and seeing the need of a team to care for them.

    Courtney moved to Wisconsin in May of 2020 to be with her husband and son. She now lives with them, as well as her dog Lizzie, two cats, and 12 year old rabbit. She’s a room parent for her son’s classroom and helps with the PTO as well. She enjoys hiking, reading, swimming, and traveling when she can.

    As our Client Relations Coordinator Courtney helps with the on-boarding process for prospective clients. From the first phone call to starting care, Courtney is there from start to finish.

    Karen has her Bachelors degree in Business and Management from Alverno College. She has been in the healthcare field as a Recruiter for about four years. Karen got into the service industry because of her nurturing and compassionate nature. She is married and has three sons. Her oldest son is a freshman in high school, and her twins are in fifth grade. In her free time, she likes to go hiking, scrapbooking, go to movies, and travel.

    As our recruiter, Karen specializes in finding great people and connecting them with the right opportunities. Works to understand what Home Helpers is looking for, then finds candidates who not only have the skills but also fit the team culture. From writing job descriptions and reviewing resumes, to interviewing and helping candidates through the offer process, Karen manages every step with care. She is always on the lookout for top talent and loves building relationships that last—whether someone’s ready for a new role now or just exploring what’s next.
