Home Helpers of Bradenton Recognizes Exceptional Caregivers at the 2020 Tampa Bay Exceptional Caregiver of the Year Awards Banquet

On January 25th, over 50 local senior home care providers were recognized for their exceptional service to the Bay area’s senior community at the 1st Annual Tampa Bay Exceptional Caregiver of Year Awards. At the awards banquet, six Home Helpers franchises serving 4 Bay area counties presented the Exceptional Caregiver of the Year Award for their individual agencies to caregivers that have illustrated Home Helper’s commitment to client satisfaction throughout the year. Also presented at the event was the 2020 Tampa Bay Home Helpers Exceptional Caregiver of the Year award.

Heidy was named the 2020 Home Helpers of Bradenton Exceptional Caregiver of the Year alongside the five other Exceptional Caregivers of the Year for the neighboring Home Helpers agencies. Heidy is originally from the city of Santiago in the Dominican Republic and is a current resident of Bradenton, Florida where she lives with her husband and two-year-old son. With the award, Heidy also received a cash prize.

Barbara, Caridad, Christina, Debora, Deirdre, Kamryn, Patricia, and Regina of Home Helpers of Bradenton were also nominated for this prestigious award.

"I love to learn from the clients' life experiences. They have a lot of wisdom, come from different backgrounds, have lived through historic events, and have seen a lot of change in the world over the course of their lives, " said Heidy, the Home Helpers of Bradenton Exceptional Caregiver of the Year. "I also enjoy making a difference and bringing smiles to their days! I just really like helping others.”

Suzanne from Tampa was named the 2020 Tampa Bay Home Helpers Exceptional Caregiver of the Year. With this award, Suzanne also received a cruise. She can pick the cruise line, the destination and the time of the year, valued at $1000.

“We are very honored to present the Exceptional Caregiver awards and very proud of all that were recognized at the event,” said Jonathan Marsh, Owner of Home Helpers of Bradenton. “With our amazing caregiving staff, Home Helpers is able to make life easier for many in our Tampa Bay area communities, both our clients and their family members.”
