I’m going to let you in on a little secret: While our top priority is to always provide Exceptional Care in more than 1,000 communities across the United States, we’ve also been busy laying some important groundwork this year so we can launch what we’re calling “Home Helpers Version 2.0” in 2020.
The best thing about this for our clients and their families is that we’re not going to take anything away; in fact, quite the opposite. Soon you’ll be able to choose from a full continuum of services to make sure that you (or a loved one) are receiving the most comprehensive care in the industry.
Throughout the course of 2019, for example, we have established partnerships with more than 30 new national partners to continue our mission of providing Exceptional Care. While some are geared toward services that will help our local offices operate more efficiently, others provide direct benefits to our clients. These include the following:
- Several new insurance networks that will work with clients to see if they have access to home care benefits that will help pay the cost of home care
- Preparing local offices to be ready for expanding Medicare Advantage benefits, also to help clients and families pay for home care
- Promisor Residential, which offers their Quick Buy Leaseback Program™ as a potential solution where you can stay in your home while using the equity to pay for home care and other expenses
In addition, Home Helpers continues to work with Veterans Care Coordination and Patriot Angels to help veterans and spouses gain access to earned and deserved Veterans Aid & Attendance Benefits to help pay for home care.
We’ve also invested significantly in new technology that keeps families even more informed about their loved one’s care; assists our offices and Caregivers with additional efficiencies; and even monitors hospital readmission statistics (or rather, the lack of readmissions due to exceptional home care), which will eventually lead to even more expanded Medicare Advantage benefits.
While I’m not yet able to share all that we’ll be offering in 2020, I can promise you this: Home Helpers will be the standard to which all other home care providers will be compared. The foundation has been set and we’re ready to build on our foundation of Exceptional Care. Exceptional Caregivers.®
