Mercy Senior Behavioral Health is a department on the seventh floor of Mercy Hospital offering 16 private beds to serve the acute psychiatric and behavioral health needs of individuals aged 55 and older on an inpatient basis. Services offered include individual and group therapy, psychiatric evaluation and treatment, medical care with a geriatrician, recreational therapy, case management and discharge planning, and family and facility involvement through family meetings. We can help individuals that are experiencing issues with dementia, severe depression or anxiety, agitation, verbal and physical aggression, hallucinations, delusions, unresolved grief, and suicidal or homicidal thoughts among other things. Care plans are individualized to meet the specific needs each patient has to promote success in their home environment.

Northwest Inpatient Rehab is located within Northwest Health System in Springdale and includes 24 private rooms. The inpatient rehabilitation unit provides services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, hip fractures, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. Other non-rehabilitation diagnoses are also considered on a case-by-case basis. Our team is led by a board certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician. The services include rehabilitation nursing; complex wound care, case management, and skilled 1-to-1 physical, occupation, & speech therapy. Each patient admitted has an individualized treatment plan that, when coupled with their participation in our intensive therapy program, will help maximize their recovery during their stay. Family members and other interested individuals are encouraged to arrange a tour of our facility.

Swing beds provide an extended care option for individuals who are recovering from illness or injury that no longer need acute hospital setting, but are not able to go home. This service includes PT, OT, ST, RT and private rooms.

Wound Care & Pain Management are also offered by OCH who sees patient’s inpatient and/or outpatient and has been recognized as a center of excellence in this region.
Radiology Services. Recently upgraded and expanded with several new pieces of equipment. We are now the first hospital to go completely digital, this means less radiation and top of the line care for our patients.

Living Well Holistic Center (IOP) Geriatric Intensive Outpatient Program is designed as a day program which includes dealing with emotional of behavioral issues and need a day program which includes therapy, lunch, psycho social evaluations, transportation to and from and assist with ADL’s. Medicare part B and or insurance pays for this treatment.
Among other services are the following: Sleep Lab, Inpatient acute care, 24/7 Emergency services, orthopedic surgery, pediatric dental and general surgery.

Regency Hospital is a 25 bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTAC) located inside Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, AR. Regency provides an acute level of care for those patients who need multiple weeks of care to recover from their illness. This intensive care allows Regency to specialize in higher acuity respiratory and medically complex patients. Regency offers ventilator weaning services, trach care, high oxygen requirements, frequent pulmonary toileting, long term IV antibiotics or IV medications that require continuous infusion, complex wound care, HD or PD, and PT, OT and ST. Springwoods Behavioral Health is an 80 bed, acute, inpatient behavioral health facility on a six acre campus, located adjacent to a 123 acre Audubon Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary, which provides a secluded and serene setting for comfort and healing. Springwoods treats adolescents (ages 12-17), adults, and senior adults for acute mental health issues through inpatient and outpatient services. We also now have a center that specifically treats the needs of adult women. Our program consists of an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, internal medicine physicians, nurses, dietitians, psychologists, social workers/therapists, mental health technicians and recreational therapists. Our qualified staff performs assessments which are then evaluated by a psychiatrist who recommends the appropriate level of care or treatment. Vantage Point is a 114-bed acute care inpatient psychiatric hospital with Outpatient Centers located in Fayetteville, Bentonville and Harrison.
